Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam, Director, Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar addresssed the Kohat University Conference on "Peghama-e-Pakistan: A Counter Narrative against Terrorism". The conference was presided over by VC KUST Prof Dr Sardar Khan while Major General Aqib Iqbal GOC Kohat was the Chief Guest.

Speaking on the theme of "National Integration" , Dr Fakhar highlighted various aspects of national unity. He presented his 5-point model for development and national coherence i.e Unity of Thought, Sense of responsibility, discipline, patience and cleanliness. Mr. Muhammad Ayaz HoD of Pakistan Studies also spoke  on the occasion.
